Welcome to 2024! As you start the new year it’s time to “no gree for anybody”. Have you begun to map out your goals for the year with your resolutions outlined? We hope that this year will bring you all the organisation you need to finally have some time to yourself, follow through on your plans, and help the kids achieve their individual goals.

To that end, we conducted a short survey to find out what the kids were thinking and hoping to accomplish throughout the year. We must admit that it was hilarious, but it was also realistic, since they are kids after all, and would only be interested in such things.

Here are some of the feedback we got from the children

  1. I want to play
  2. I want ice cream
  3. Huh?!!
  4. I want to run up and down the stairs
  5. I want to hear a story
  6. I want to dance
  7. I want to see my Mum
  8. I want to do a split
  9. I want to watch Cartoons
  10. I want to have a bicycle

Hilarious right? Well, these are just some of the things your children often consider. This is why, as a parent, you must advocate for other areas of concentration or them. At this point, they have no idea what they want to achieve. Your coaching will assist them in properly developing and establishing themselves as personalities and individuals.

Conclusion

As a result, we encourage you to use this new year to better plan what you want your child to accomplish by the end of the year. Speak with them about their interests, identify that ability or spark you know they have, and motivate them to push them.

Believe that they will appreciate you later in life as you have set them on the right path. Once again, Happy New Year! Wishing you all the best this year and beyond.
